We are building our Casual Relief Pool to provide support to our client sites in the Northern Territory and help to support the daily function of our villages.
ESS provides a home away from home for people working in remote mining villages and offshore on oil rigs. We provide hospitality solutions to ensure all guests are getting the comforts of home even in isolated locations.
The Position: Make culinary enchantments unfold.
- You will prepare, cook, and serve palate-pleasing meals for residents and guests.
- Maintain food safety standards in line with company policies.
- Provide exceptional service when interacting with our staff, residents, and guests.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create “specials” outside the regular menu cycle.
- Navigate expectations skilfully.
The Ideal Person:
- Experience working in a high-volume, buffet-style kitchen.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate.
- Creative flair and passion for experimenting with flavors and ingredients.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance.
