We are currently seeking an experienced Data Comms Technician/Electrician with an Open Cabling Licence and endorsements to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging FIFO role, based out of Moranbah, QLD.
The Role: As a Data Comms Technician/Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data communication systems and fibre optics. This role requires extensive experience in Data communications and a commitment to high-quality work. You will work on a 7/7 swing, ensuring a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot data communication systems and fibre optics.
- Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on communication systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to data comms and fibre optics.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
