Our client is a privately owned Not-For-Profit (NFP) Western Australian Aboriginal organisation headquartered in Port Hedland. Dedicated to serving Aboriginal remote communities, they focus on property management, environmental health, municipal services, and essential maintenance.
The Role... Due to operational and upcoming project work we are currently seeking a FIFO Electrician (ex Perth WA) working a 3:2 roster for an immediate start. As Electrician you will be part of a two man crew tasked to work alongside a plumber/fitter on a designated run.
Your primary responsibility involves maintaining and ensuring the reliability of essential power systems for water treatment systems, remote bores, chlorinators, RO plants, UV systems, sewer pumping stations and bore fields across Aboriginal communities in the Southern Pilbara region. Key Responsibilities: Servicing generators, RO plants, chlorinators, and UV systems. Maintaining equipment compounds.
Participating in small project installations. Executing preventative maintenance measures. Support & Facilities: You will have the support of Supervisors overseeing both power and water systems.
Accommodation is provided, and each crew travels in a well-equipped Landcruiser, equipped with personal fridges, cooking gear, bottled water, first aid kits, and satellite tracking for efficient communication and breakdown notifications. What You Will Bring: To be considered for this role, as a minimum you will require: WA Electrical License CPR / LVR certification Police clearance Motivation and positive attitude Technical expertise and experience in water treatment systems, bores (desirable) Immediate availability FIFO Experience: Familiarity with remote work and living in Western Australia.
Strong Work Ethic: Along with a good sense of humour for the long drives between stops Adaptability: Ability to thrive without consistent WIFI or mobile service.
