Digital Marketing Specialist

About the role:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will work with the Digital Marketing Lead and Manager to take the Suncorp brands to new heights through the development & execution of leading digital campaigns.
The role will be focused on being obsessed with the numbers and using data to drive profitable growth and optimisation of Suncorp’s insurance products.
Key Objectives include:
- Manage the strategic approach to data driven Digital Marketing to deliver experiences through personalisation and segmentation for Suncorp.
- Utilise Suncorp’s suite of technology to Develop Omni-channel Digital Experiences
- Work with our agency to execute defined programs and the “Always on” BAU digital program.
- Driving best practice through strategic use of digital, data and technology to meet revenue and efficiency targets.
- Work in collaboration and partnership with agency and other stakeholders (Brand / Content / Web etc)
More specifically, you will:
- Driving best practice innovation through strategic use of digital and social marketing channels, data, technology and analytics, and driving demonstrable business outcomes
- Planning, execution and optimisation of Digital Marketing activity for Suncorp Groups insurance brands
- Design, develop & manage personalised customer experiences across all digital channels.
- Leverage data and technology to deliver targeted and personalised digital media and collaborate with the website team deliver a seamless onsite experience.
- Monitor Competitor activity and analysis to uncover opportunities which gain market share.
- Work collaboratively across marketing teams to share insights and provide audience segmentation recommendations that inform the creative strategy for our campaigns across digital channels.
- Deliver Digital Marketing reporting including key insights, learnings and recommendations by agreed deadlines.
- Stay up to date across industry changes and developments and identify key opportunities for business value that can be driven by early adoption of products or technology.
- Contribute to the accurate management of campaign budgets and financial reporting.
- Identify and manage compliance and privacy policy formation.
- Work collaboratively with Brand Marketing teams to integrate across digital campaigns which capture and convert demand.
- Work collaboratively with Platform and wider Marketing Automation teams to deliver seamless customers experiences.

- Communicate with influence on relevant stakeholders to ensure the Brand & Marketing program of work is delivered

- Work across Brand & Marketing, the Customer Experience function and across the group collaboratively to solve issues, take opportunities and promote new ideas for consideration.
- Actively collaborate across your Division, Customer Experience Function and the broader Group functions to support the achievement of strategic objectives.

- Contribute to the culture of the Digital Marketing team and cultivate a team environment that encourages people to perform at their best balancing productivity, quality and compassion.
- Collaborate across the business for opportunities to leverage knowledge and capability to maximise business outcomes.
About You:
- Tertiary Degree in Business or Marketing Mandatory
- 2-4+ years marketing experience in a similar environment (either Client or Agency side) with a focus on Digital Marketing and/or customer marketing. Executing digital media – SEM, Display, and Social
- Knowledge of the Australian publishers/digital networks
- Understanding of digital analytics and marketing automation technology
- Highly effective communication and consulting skills
- Ability to identify future trends and developments in digital for the marketing team.
- Exposure to ROI marketing management
- The ability to develop actionable business opportunities from analysis of multiple datasets.
Key Capabilities:
- Experience with designing and implementing Personalisation and Testing programs (e.g. Adobe Target, Experience Manager or equivalent advantageous)
- Agency/Consultancy based experience – advantageous.
- Expert in managing and implementing digital performance media programs (SEM, Display, Social)
- Excellent strategic planning skills to drive business benefit and maximise opportunities.
- Excellent understanding of the evolving marketing technology landscape
- Thorough understanding of ad serving platforms such as GMP
- Ability to predict future trends and developments in digital for the marketing team
- Expertise in defining digital analytics, managing attribution and data driven marketing strategies that deliver demonstrable business outcomes.
- Ability to communicate complex and detailed information simply and effectively.
