Skills & Experience
- HDPE Butt Welding & Electrofusion Tickets
- Extensive knowledge of HDPE pipe and fittings
- Installation and maintenance of dewatering bores, pumps and associated infrastructure.
- Experience using a wide range of welding machines, such as McElroy, Dixon and Ritmo, experience welding pipe up to 900mm.
- Able to interpret drawings and work unsupervised
- HRWL - DG, C6 - Desirable
- Mobile Plant Tickets - Excavator, Loader, Tele handler - Desirable
- Current drivers licence - HR Licence - Desirable
- Construction Industry White Card
Poly Welder
As a Poly Welder, your role will involve:
- Delivering a range of dewatering projects
- Operating various Poly Welding machines unsupervised and self managed
- Installing HDPE pipelines and associated infrastructures
Dewatering Technician
- Install and operate dewatering systems at remote FIFO construction sites.
- Conduct regular inspections of dewatering equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Experience sinking bores and associated works.
- Monitor and adjust water levels in excavation areas to meet operational requirements.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and engineers to plan and implement dewatering strategies.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on dewatering pumps, hoses, and related equipment.
- Operate Machinery and Poly Weld when required.
