We are seeking a motivated and proactive FIFO Supervisor to oversee our mine site clean-up crews. The supervisor will be responsible for managing both wet and dry fixed plant setups and overseeing small crews working in different confined areas.
Sound working knowledge of mine safety requirements is required. The role involves handling multiple daily reporting structures, providing effective feedback on JHA, and having strong computer skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are also necessary.
You will receive support from HSE Coordinators and Operation Managers with weekly visits but will be expected to complete daily safety documentation, reports, time sheets, and other documentation as per EK policies and procedures.
The roster is a set 2/2 with a week of days and a week of nights. The option of a 2/1 roster will be offered for the right candidate.
Candidates who advance to the interview phase will need to complete a practical daily report and provide feedback on a JHA to the interview panel.
EK Contracting will provide supervisory training for the right candidate to successfully work towards achieving their Statutory Mine Supervisors certification.
