We are also open to candidates that have had limited experience in this area, but willing to obtain tickets for the role, for example, forklift etc
Job description
The purpose of this role is to provide functional support across key activities in receive, pick, pack and dispatch goods against the business and supplier documentation, in accordance with company policy and procedure, and complete other warehouse related duties as required.
Your Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To;
- Picking, packing and despatch of customer orders (freight management), including forklift driving
- Receiving, labelling and storing of incoming goods
- Data entry
- Conducting sorting, loading and unloading of vehicles
- Ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and displayed
- Assisting on the trade store counter and general housekeeping duties
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
- SAP experience (desirable)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be versatile with a 'can do' attitude
- Forklift licence and experience highly regarded - or willing to obtain for the role
- Valid Australian drivers licence
- Australian working rights with no restrictions
- Provide National Police Clearance within 12 months
- Ability to pass pre employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
