About the Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and dedicated IT Support Officer to enhance our IT team's capabilities. In this dynamic role, you will be tasked with maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of systems, offering comprehensive support to our staff, and implementing new processes to streamline operations. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual eager to refine their IT skills within a growing and fast-paced environment. As a pivotal figure in our IT department, you will juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and communicate with confidence and clarity.

Duties
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing 1st and 2nd level support to internal staff, addressing account issues, managing printers, imaging new laptops and thin clients, and overseeing the onboarding and offboarding of users, troubleshooting email, email filtering, and remote access problems.
- Tracking and maintaining IT assets.
- Managing IT documentation
- Administering and troubleshooting a variety of internal systems.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., TAFE, CompTIA, Microsoft Certified) or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with ITIL service methodology.
- Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- A strong understanding of WINTEL environments, alongside network and security principles.
Desirable
- Experience with Citrix or thin-client technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or another scripting language.
- Expertise in infrastructure support, including virtualization, networking, and security.
