Final Trim Excavator Operators

Shaw Contracting is looking to appoint experienced Final Trim Excavator Operators. 

 As one of Tasmania’s leading civil engineering companies, we currently have a need for experienced Plant Operators to join our team and work across various sites and projects.

If you have a detailed history in civil construction and meet the following criteria, we could offer you your next employment opportunity. 

To be successful in the position you should be proficient in all the following areas:

• Self-motivated and be safety minded
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Hold relevant competencies & valid licences, particularly excavator operations
• Demonstrated experience in the safe operation/maintenance of relevant plant and equipment (e.g., excavators, trucks, loaders etc.)
• Good attitude and the ability to work unsupervised and enjoy working as part of a valued team. 
• A demonstrated commitment to work health & safety, quality and environmental standards in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and site project management plans.
• Some projects will require you to work away from home.  A living away from home allowance will be paid along with travel.
