Role Purpose: The Data Centre Operations Supervisor is a key position responsible for overseeing the Data Centre Logistics Co-Ordinators and staff, ensuring seamless logistics operational functions. This includes inbound and outbound processes, inventory control, trucking coordination, and the generation of operations documents. The role also involves collaborating with the DC Manager and other departments to meet customer and company requirements efficiently.
Role Accountabilities:
- Ensure operational processes align with customer and company policies
- Direct, monitor, and manage Data Centre Logistics Co-Ordinators and staff activities
- Evaluate and report on warehouse productivity
- Set priorities, delegate tasks, and manage workloads within the team
- Coach and mentor the team on best practices and implement training for improved performance
- Meet financial targets and implement the company's Labor Management Program
- Conduct department and staff performance reviews in accordance with ISO 9002 accreditation
- Ensure compliance with WH&S policy and procedures
- Assist in the development of operational proposals and activity costing
- Attend meetings, town halls, and working groups as required
- Supervise employees using tools and processes for effective management
Skills Required:
- Strong Leadership skills
- WMS and Transport systems knowledge
- Rostering and staff allocation experience
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation

- Advanced computer skills
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar management position
- Engineering or IT-based qualifications
- Proficient in using IT platforms
- Experience and knowledge of logistics operations
- Good awareness of OH&S requirements
- Highly experienced in building and maintaining customer relationships
- Specific Warehouse Management System skills
