- Accurate reporting of assets and financial transactions, aligning with Australian Accounting Standards and regulations, while maintain high performance standards across the department.
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills to drive accountability and outcomes.
- Well-developed knowledge and skills in systems like SAP ERP, Microsoft Office, and data analytics tools.
- Ability to gain and apply detailed knowledge of accounting concepts, principles, frameworks and processes as they relate to internal and external financial reporting in accordance with Non-Current Asset Policies for the Queensland Public Sector and departmental operations.
- Criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment.
- Degree or equivalent in accounting, commerce, business, or professional accounting body membership preferred.
