An exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst – Financial Reporting to join our fun, collaborative, and hardworking Group Finance team based at our office in North Sydney!
About the role
The Finance Analyst – Financial Reporting role is incredibly diverse and will allow you to use your technical accounting knowledge within a complex ASX listed organisation.
The primary objective of the Finance Analyst – Financial Reporting is to ensure that the Ventia Group meets all external Financial Reporting requirements and that financial reports are of a high quality and reported on a timely basis.

The role offers flexible working with time in the office and working from home.
Act as the owner of the statutory financials and consolidation process.
Provide technical accounting advice to the business
Manage external auditors to ensure a smooth review/audit process.
Prepare relevant reports for Board meetings and shareholders and respond to queries from CFO, ELT and Directors.
Work with a wide range of stakeholders, including Legal & Company Secretary, Investor Relations, FP&A, Corporate Accounting and Sector Finance.
About you
Tertiary level qualifications in relevant discipline.
CA or CPA essential
Experience of handling of complex accounting issues (e.g. business combination, revenue recognition for complex contracts, impairment of assets, and share-based payments)
Post qualification experience (Big 4 or ASX listed environment desirable).
Experience with SAP, SAP BPC and Blackline (desirable).
