What this opportunity involves:
We are seeking for a Financial professional to join us as a Finance Analyst, Operations to join our team
Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you will assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, month-end journals, actuals to budget/forecast analysis including identification of variance drivers for management reporting.
This role is a hybrid role – working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. You will initially be based in Melbourne CBD and will eventually move to inner CBD with both tram and train accessibility.
What this role involves:
- Completion and co-ordinating of month end accruals and reporting process
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and reports, of actuals against budget with appropriate variance analysis
- Support in identifying corrective actions to ensure budget compliance
- Preparation of annual budget and forecasts
- Support the driving of cost savings through analysis and insights

- Tertiary education in Accounting or Finance
- Achievement of or studying towards professional qualifications (CA or CPA) will be highly regarded
- Sound experience in finance operations (facility management will be an added advantage)
- Over 4 years’ experience in budgeting, forecasting or modelling in a complex commercial environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex deliverables on a daily basis, inclusive of month end
- Good interpersonal skills to manage a diverse range of stakeholders (both internal and external)
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling
