Finance Analyst

Intro: We are currently recruiting a Finance Analyst for leading commercial organisation, they have a close knit team of 5 people and this role reports to the Finance Manager. It's a fast paced, driven and collaborative environment, working in the finance division, where the colleagues are engaged, aware, friendly and value encouraging ideas.
Your responsibilities:
Overall responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of the general ledger on a monthly and annual basis to allow the preparation of monthly financial statements
Responsible with the completion of the balance sheet and bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
Preparation of weekly reports and trends analysis
Working closely with the team for budgeting, forecasting and month end reporting
Preparation of Trial balance each month end.
Undertake ad hoc projects / duties as required to support the team
What experience will you have:
2-3 year's experience in a similar or related role preferred
Relevant Accounting / Finance qualifications, CA or CPA helpful
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to manage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to meet strict deadlines
Ability to use initiative and be proactive
Excellent time management skills
Strong work ethic, diligence, integrity
Detail-oriented and meticulous
