SalaryTalenza has been engaged to source two Finance Analysts for a key banking program.Contract length: 6 months with chance of extension
Day rate: $900 + super per day
Location: SydneyRole 1: Finance Analyst - Regulatory reporting (capital reporting)
Role 2: Finance Analyst - Performance Management/ AccountingKey responsibilities:
- Experience in testing. Work with finance colleagues & the program to ensure future state solution is tested and fit for purpose
- Experience in regular management reporting. Release BAU capacity by stepping into the 'day to day' reporting as required, including both management reporting and regulatory reporting.
- Involvement in production of year end management & investor pack reporting & support the team in finalisation of the 3-year plan.
- Being the go-to Finance transition partner, building relationships across finance & the business functions.
- Organise and manage workshops with key stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights & ability to influence senior stakeholders and/ or delivery of accurate and timely regulatory reporting.
- Proactively support the development and implementation of regulatory reporting changes impacting the Bank.
- Drive technical excellence in regulatory reporting and communicate with stakeholders in relation to emerging regulatory changes and operating environments.
- Champion a documentation and risk focused mindset within the Bank Regulatory Reporting team.
- Relevant degree in accounting or finance
- Banking experience, ideally on a divestment or similar program
- 7+ years as a Finance Analyst
- UAT, SQL, PowerBi
- Hands on and ability to work in a fast paced enviroment
