About the Role

 

As a Finance Associate, Process and Control, you are responsible for driving efficiency, consistency, and integrity across key processes within Financial Control and broader Enterprise Finance.

 

You will be part of a small team of Process and Control experts, with a primary responsibility to support the finance function operate and administer key controls and drive change in key processes. You may also be deployed to support other change projects/initiatives across the wider financial control community.

 

You will also assume BAU responsibilities relevant to key processes incl. policy & procedure ownership and maintenance, training, and other activities that relate to embedding and sustaining change whilst monitoring risks effectively. Some of the key responsibilities include execution of Enterprise Finance governance and well managed responsibilities to ensure process performance and compliance.

 

The team works in close collaboration with GPO, Finance Governance, Heads of Divisional Financial Control and HFC Leads in Manila.

Role Type: Permanent, full-time

 

What will your day look like?

You are also responsible with the following:

 

  • Support I AM Framework implementation. Partner with Finance in Central monitoring that controls
  • Supporting 1st line risk and assurance (financial reporting governance, non-financial risk management and other Group Policy compliance requirements as required) for HFC, CF&C and Enterprise Finance more broadly.
  • Support delivery of Local Compliance and BG&C requirements
  • Performance of Key controls including but not limited to: 
  • Finance Procedure Operations
  • IE BSOR interface process
  • Administration of EUDT, Critical Spreadsheets etc
  • Performance of Enterprise Finance governance and well managed responsibilities inc but not limited to
  • Process performance reporting and monitoring
  • Compliance reporting (OPCO,SLA/SOWs, DTP etc)
  • Ensure finance operational risks are well managed and mitigated.
  • Ensure a speak-up mindset is embedded and matters are escalated appropriately.

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • A bachelors’ university degree and be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
  • Proven experience in finance and accounting
  • Experience in establishing, planning, managing projects end-to-end.
  • Identification and effective execution of improvements to processes or reporting; experience in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, HCD highly regarded.
  • Sound platform and software tooling knowledge to ensure sustainable solutions that will meet and exceed business needs
  • Understanding of various automation tools
  • Possess communication and leadership skills coupled with creative approach to problem solving
