This is a unique opportunity to join QBE's AusPac Finance Partnering & Planning Team in a forward - looking Business Partnering role. QBE is embarking on a programme of strategic change, with a focus on enhanced insight into business performance and decision making. With a focus on functional costs, strategy, and forecasting, this is a true partnering position with a strong emphasis on the customer and being able to offer solutions, provide challenge and navigate complex processes on behalf of senior stakeholders. Interacting closely with key senior EMB and LT members this role will be responsible for reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting across various shared services functions driving cost visibility, reduction, and productivity insights. Collaborating with the broader finance partnering and planning team this role will simplify ways of working and drive automation to develop better insights into performance and trends.
About you
As the ideal candidate, you will have 5 to 7 years' experience in a Finance Business Partner / Financial analysis role with relevant qualifications (including CA/CPA) and demonstrated success in a Finance or General Insurance environment. We are seeking an energetic individual who provides best-practice advice, guidance, and recommendations to senior leaders across the organisation. You will have strong influencing and advocacy skills, and an ability to deliver insights and tell a story using data. You'll also demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, and strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills supported by an ability to identify key issues and business drivers behind data.
