A bit about the role
The Finance Business Partner will provide management accounting, business support, Business Partnering and financial reporting & analysis advice and assistance to ensure the integrity of financial management systems at the City of Casey.
You will provide guidance to business units regarding their financial information systems, business support and reporting requirements, ensuring prompt, courteous and adequate service is delivered.
What you’ll deliver
- Contribute to the development of Council Budgets and Forecasts, including employee costings and fleet budgets, and provide Business Partnering to Departments.
- Contribute to the development, communication and monitoring of Council's Corporate Planning Framework.
- Contribute to the preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reports to the Executive Management Team and Council.
- Assist with business case analysis in support of major projects across the organisation as required.
- Assist the Management Accounting team in Delegation of Authority, Financial Systems support and maintenance, upgrades and implementations and system-based reporting and data analysis.
What you’ll bring
- Completion of a degree or diploma course, or lesser formal qualifications with relevant work skills or experience.
- Experience in ERP Finance systems, exposure to Data Analytics, System integration and Technology One Finance system experience including XL one reporting will be highly regarded.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
