An exciting and unique ongoing opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Department of Government Services as Finance Business Partner to provide support to the Senior Finance Business Partner and a portfolio of clients.
The responsibilities of the Finance Branch include working closely together to manage DPC and DGS funding, strategic planning, reporting and budget activities.
As the Finance Business Partner you will support stakeholders in understanding financial performance analysis, costings, modelling, reporting, processes, systems, and policies as necessary. Assisting with budget management reporting, internal budget development, and forecasts will also be an essential requirement of this role.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in a Business Partnering and management accounting role in a complex organisation
Well-developed stakeholder relationship skills
Sound conceptual and analytical FP&A skills
Well-developed communication skills
Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and good time management skills
Please note that a CA/CPA qualification, a Finance or Accounting Degree or equivalent and a Business Partnering and Management Accounting background are a mandatory requirement of this role.
