Are you looking for a position where you can actively influence day to day decisions and help shape the strategy of the business?
A 12-month contract, collaborating closely with key stakeholders, providing financial insights and guidance to drive informed decision-making in relation to cost and investment. Reporting to Head of Operations – Finance, you will provide financial management for significant Tip Top operational Capital Projects, ranging from ~$130M through to ~30M.
Responsibilities include but not limited to;
Developing, documenting, and implementing financial and project controls
Establishing and maintaining a project governance framework
Providing financial review of contracts through construction phase through to close out
Managing FX hedge forecasting, tracking and accounting for all foreign currency capital purchases
Initiating contracts close out processes, including finalisation of claims and management of contracts to end of defects liability period
Establishing and maintaining fit-for-purpose capital spend reporting (including commitment reporting), FX hedging and cashflow tracking process
About You
This role will require a good understanding of the capital process and will require the development of strong relationships with members of the National Engineering Team.
Degree qualified CPA, CIMA or CA fully qualified
Minimum 3 years' experience in similar project finance roles.
Minimum 5 years' Post Qualification finance experience
Able to use strategic financial planning and partnering to challenge, advice, and coach senior stakeholders in business planning through a range of communication channels
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint to be able to draw insight and analysis from financial and non-financial data
This role is a blended role for office and home working, with up to four days per week at site. Travel is required for this role dependent on where you are located.
