• Overseeing the accurate preparation and delivery of the monthly Management Pack and other financial reporting requirements for all entities across the group.
• Analyse monthly results to Budget & Forecast, providing commentary, explanations for variances and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct monthly departmental reviews with managers to ensure expenditure is in line with budget expectations.
• Manage transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions, including sales, purchases, and royalty payments, to accurately reflect transfer pricing arrangements and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Responsible for reviewing & lodging all Compliance related activities (ieSales Tax, VAT, Year-End Tax) and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, collections, and reconciliations, to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining the Daily Sales Targets in accordance with seasonal trends, sales patterns and businessobjectives as well as the approved budget
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate projections and monitor variances.
• Maintain effective relationships with key external stakeholders, including both AU & US accounting firms, banks, and other service providers.
• Prepare and analyse cash flow statements, forecasting cash inflows and outflows to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic investments.
• Provide ad hoc reporting & analysis, financial support and data driven insights to enable the Executive Leadership Team, and wider business, to make critical decisions.
• Lead and mentor a team of Accountants and Accounts Payable procidingguidance, support, and direction to ensure the successful execution of financial processes and responsibilities
• Embrace a business partnering culture within the finance team to ensure effective decision support across the organisation.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, promoting continuous learning and development opportunities.
• Delegate tasks effectively, manage workloads, and prioritise assignments to optimise team productivity and efficiency. Provide regular performance feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and identify training needs to enhance individual and team performance.
• Provide financial leadership and support across the various business units
• Ensuring the organisation is compliant with applicable accounting standards & General Ledger and ERP maintenance.
