Our story still has many pages to be written and we are now seeking a Finance Manager to provide technical support the flavour creations team and help deliver an array of flavour solutions to our customers in a socially ethical, responsible, and sustainable way.
YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
To be a complimentary fit for this role you will have:
- Proven leadership skills with Executives and business partners
- Demonstrate strong accounting and analytical skills.
- Understanding key business drivers and opportunities with a focus on the bottom line combined with the ability to provide influence to the proposition
- Commercially aware supporting business initiatives, e.g. sales pricing strategies
- A manufacturing background with strong costing experience
- Experience in IT, managing a number of staff and development of business support requirements.
- Ability to encourage team work with the delegation of responsibilities providing support and mentoring to ensure an active participation in the support of business objectives
- Degree in accounting or finance supported by a professional qualification such as CPA or CA
- Experienced as a Finance Leader and a part of the management team
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment and MRP
- Knowledge of costing in high volume of pricing situations
- Working closely with sales teams and understand the strategy involved in various market segments
- Experience in managing IT and preferably SAP as well as standard business software such as MS suite
YOUR ROLE
You will be ensuring the accurate flow of financial data within Essential Flavour entities.
- Manage all accounting operations locally and overseas in accordance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
- Completion of management accounts on a timely basis
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Complete monthly management reports in a timely manner and review with the Management Team
- Support the business with a knowledge of cost and minimum selling price points to ensure that selling prices are in accordance with profit objectives.
- Ensure the timely completion of statutory requirements - BAS, GST, Superannuation and Payroll Tax, and relevant legislative compliance documentation
- Liaison with external accounting practice on completion of tax returns and statutory accounts.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Ensure that IT is supporting the business and that the existing business systems are deliver information requirements of users.
- Drive finance initiatives to support business strategies in alignment with growth opportunities
- Develop and train finance team members ensuring they fit within the culture and shared values of the company
- Undertake other ad hoc tasks as delegated by the CEO
