Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Present financial information to key stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in financial regulations that may impact the organisation.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial role.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial software like MYOB Advanced, Power BI, Xero and Microsoft Office Suite.
