Finance Manager
Finnish Early Childhood Education (Australia) Pty Ltd is an education group developing early learning centres in Australia under different brandings. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to enhance budgeting and accounting systems and the development of childcare centre businesses in Australia. This is a full-time position based in Melbourne. Followings are the requirements for the position.
Salary range: $110,000 - $125,000 per annum plus superannuation
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
Experience required:
- At least 20 years of working experience in the Finance and banking sector, of which at least 10 years of experience at the senior management level.
- Coordination of investor events and managing investor relationship, especially capability to communicate with investors from Greater China background.
- Review of the company’s financial reports including but not limited to profit and loss statements, balance sheets and financial statements.
- Assessment and implementation of budgetary strategies.
- Preparation of long-term financial forecast.
- Communication with the regulatory authorities, banks, financial institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Working with other heads of teams to prepare, implement, assess and evaluate budgetary and accounting strategies.
- Supplying and presenting financial data to the stakeholders.
- Analyzing the potential implications for the business performance and interpreting financial data to identify the funding needs of the company.
- Overseeing the preparation and reviewing of the company’s financial reports including but not limited to general ledgers, profit and loss statements, balance sheets and financial statements.
- Forecasting the company’s future earnings and income.
- Offering advice on potential sources of funds and the allocation of earnings.
- Overseeing the overall investment advisory and asset management.
- Maintaining a good relationship with the current investors and potential investors.
- Coordinating investor events such as briefing sessions and roadshows.
- Negotiation with banks, financial institutions and investors to strive for favorable financing terms and conditions.
- Preparing correspondence to the enquiries raised by external parties such as regulatory authorities, auditors, financial institutions, banks and service providers.
- Staying tuned with the industry news and regulatory updates.
- Ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements and standards.
