You will be responsible for proactively partnering across Tip Top but primarily with the South West Operations functions to lead and support the delivery of profitable growth opportunities across all categories and channels consistent with the goals and objectives of the broader Tip Top strategy.
Key accountabilities are:
- Enabling superior decisions through outstanding business partnering and the use of simplified, fact based, analytical insights and robust reporting methods
- Building and maintaining a high performing team that focuses on continuous improvement and enables great careers and development for our people
- Maintaining discipline and integrity for commercial and operational evaluation decisions, ensuring whole of business thinking is applied including capital expenditure and structural decisions, new product development (NPD) and pricing strategies
- Providing financial leadership for transformational projects in the region. Supporting the South West Operations function to develop attractive business cases for transformation, and follow through to achieve successful delivery of strategic, commercial and financial benefit commitments
- Creating and protecting value through effective governance and risk management across all processes including Purchase Order Compliance, Capital Expenditure Process, Inventory Policy Compliance and general data management and integrity
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualified in Finance, Business or related discipline with CA/CPA/CIMA qualification
- Minimum 5-10 years in a Senior Finance position in a highly complex organisation with an operations industry background (FMCG highly regarded)
- Proven effectiveness in managing large projects involving change management and process improvement
- Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally
