The role
Reporting into the CFO, this is an excellent, broad role that suits a hands on Finance Manager (or experienced senior accountant stepping up) and includes the following tasks -
- Responsible for the month end process of all entities including: month end journals posting, accounts classifications, credit card and expenses reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations as well as investigate and resolve any anomalies
- Prepare monthly management pack, including sales, variance analysis and commentary
- Prepare all monthly, quarterly and annually taxes, including GST, FBT, Income Tax and Transfer Pricing
- Support and manage the budgeting and 24-month rolling forecasting process
- Prepare Cashflow reporting
- Drive the team in preparation of an accurate audit including consolidation of financial statements
- Leading Finance team through company transformation
- Support continuous business processes and systems improvement
- Implement internal controls policies and procedures and ensure adherence to accounting standards and best practice guidelines
- Manage a small finance team and establish a proactive and diligent culture
About you
- Qualified accountant (CPA/CA)
- Experienced Finance Manager (or senior accountant stepping up)
- Multi-site experience is desirable but non essential. This could be hospitality, retail, to name a few
- Exposure to a fast paced and growing organisation
- Is an exceptional communicator and has a natural flair in influencing stakeholders at all levels with strong interpersonal skills
