Finance Manager

Positive Salary Packaging is a leading provider of salary packaging solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Brisbane.

As the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the efficient and effective management of our operational finances. You will partner with our General Manager – Sales, external accountants, Directors and Board on strategic and day-to-day financial responsibilities, ensuring a high level of service to your stakeholders and driving continuous improvement initiatives. 

Responsibilities:

• Leading the Budgeting & Forecasting processes
• Manage the relationship with external accountants
• Oversee the lodgments and compliance of statutory obligations (BAS/Super/GST/Payroll Tax)
• Process Payroll
• Preparation of financial reporting to Board
• Assistance in preparation of the 3-year strategic plan, updated annually 
• Sales/trading reporting, analysis and presentation
• Primary business partner to General Manager – Sales for Financial insights
• Providing critical insights to support revenue growth and operating efficiency in all channels

Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in Commerce, preferable CA/CPA qualified 
• Experience in Accounting/financial management
• Experience using Xero
• Previous experience in reporting to a Board of Directors or Senior Management
• Demonstrated superior leadership skills with experience of leading change
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Sound judgment and decision making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a high level of Excel experience
