About Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT
Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT is the Governing Body for 9 Wheelchair Sports across NSW and the ACT. A small team with a strong work ethic, the organisation is a registered charity with a Mission to change the lives of people with a disability through participation in sport.
The Role:
This role reports to the CEO, and covers all aspects related to Finance
- Accounts administration
- Fortnightly payroll and management of Fringe Benefits
- Bank and petty cash reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly accounts, annual budgets and forecasts for the CEO and Board
- Invoicing and processing of payments
- Regulating Finance and Governance committee
- Financial year end
- Administration of Superannuation compliance
- Maintenance of Insurance policies and workers compensation
- ATO compliance and reporting (including PAYG, BAS etc)
- Management of donation processing system
- Human Resources administration
Essential requirements:
- Experienced finance professional
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with MYOB Live Accounts
- Experience in the Not for Profit sector (highly desirable)
