ABOUT THE COMPANY: Aury NHL Mining Pty Ltd is a joint venture between DADI Australia, DADI Engineering and Inner Mongolia North Hauler Intelligent Mining Company limited (NHL). NHL manufacture a full range of electric drive mining haul trucks and offer a seamlessly integrated unmanned solution with capacities from 120 to 330 tonne. Established in 1988, listed company of China North Industries Group Corporation Limited, NHL has 80% of the Chinese domestic market share and supplies to 63 countries. DADI’s business has been expanded from geological consulting to EPC turnkey projects, mine design and development, processing equipment manufacturing, coal preparation plant contract operation, mine electrical and automation systems, smart mining and processing technologies, and waste heat recovery solutions. DADI Engineering has secured long term supply/service contracts with major international mining companies including BHP, Sedgman, Anglo American, Rio Tinto, Glencore, Vale and Yancoal.

ABOUT THE ROLE: Support the General Manager with financial accounting, monthly reporting, group reporting, budget preparation, production analysis, inventory reconciliations, month / year end audit and tax compliances.
 

Financial & Management Reporting:

• Full function of financial accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Produce and present monthly financial and management reports including detailed variance analysis of cost vs budget.
• Perform month end process including depreciation calculations, maintenance fixed assets, OPE assets, lease accounting, recurring journals, payroll journals, bank reconciliation, spare parts and inventory reconciliation and other balance sheet reconciliation.
• Coordinate and assist in Yearend external audit and adhoc internal audit to improve financial accountability.
• Perform cost accounting and profitability analysis by products and customers.
• Assist in Group reporting including KPI reporting.
• Management of cashflow and cashflow forecast.
• Support P&L and Balance Sheet Analysis and review with departmental heads.
• Assist in preparation of annual budget and statutory reporting workpapers.
• Coordinate in effective system improvements including rolling out of job costing for operations.
• Financial system and month end managements.
• Support General Manager on an adhoc basis with operational analysis.

Taxation:
• Manage PAYG and prepare and lodge quarterly BAS return.
• Prepare and lodge payroll tax.
• Prepare and lodge FBT return.
• Provide support for company tax returns with external tax consultants.
• Prepare and submit various statutory reports.

Key Requirements:
• CPA/ CA qualified with minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in manufacturing and cost management.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional people leader and management skills.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• High work ethic and Team player.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamic 365 will be an advantage but not essential.
• Hands on person with attention to detail.
