Finance Officer - Temporary role for 3-6 months
On behalf of our client, Cottrell Group is currently seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join a small, dedicated in-house team on a full-time temporary basis.
Located in central Ballarat, the Finance Officer will be exposed to a variety of tasks associated with day-to-day accounts and administration, with a focus on:
- Quote preparation and invoicing;
- Monthly accounting reconciliation activities and general ledger;
- Accounts payable and receivable;
- General accounts administration as required.
Our client is looking for someone with the ability to self-manage their own workload and prioritise effectively, and who can come in and hit the ground running!
About You
In addition to having solid financial and accounts experience, the following skills and attributes will be highly regarded:
- Prior experience and confidence working with Xero or other similar accounts software;
- High level administration skills, with a strong attention to detail;
- Great time management and a high level of both organisational and problem solving skills;
- Well mannered, with great written and verbal communication;
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and able to work well with others
