Your Role:
As our new Finance & Procurement Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our Supply Chain & Retail division, reporting directly to the National Commercial Manager. Your new position is a key business partnering role, focusing on providing analytical support to the Procurement team. You will contribute to fact-based, insight-rich, and financially beneficial decision-making processes. This role involves collaborating closely with commercial stakeholders and supporting the establishment of best-practice processes for proactive and efficient analytical support for procurement decisions.
Some of your day-to-day key responsibilities will include:
- Collaboration with key commercial stakeholders
- Support in supply chain decision-making processes, including supply tenders and supplier price reviews
- Management of supplier rebate claims
- Production of rebate data for monthly Accrual, monthly Forecast, and yearly Budget
- Production of regular reports to support Procurement performance review
- Provision of analysis and insights to drive successful business decisions
- Development and implementation of relevant processes/templates to support supply chain business decisions
- Understanding and development of data integrity reviews for JDE's product-level master data
- Driving improvement in performance, innovation, and benchmarking analysis
- Development and maintenance of the supply chain database for analytical needs
- Handling other projects as assigned by the direct manager
To be successful in this position, we're looking for candidates with the following Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, commerce, engineering, information systems, or a related field
- CPA/CA qualified
- Excellent understanding of accounting processes and data flows from transactional system modules to GL reporting
- Experience with large, matrix-style business structures
- Experience with high-volume product-level analysis
- Strong business partnering skills
- Forward-thinking, self-driven, with a genuine interest in making a front-end business impact
- Ability to build complex financial models and communicate financial insights and commercial recommendations effectively
- Deadline-driven with excellent analytical skills across multiple applications and systems
- Experience in Food/Hospitality/FMCG preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, ERP systems (JDE, Oracle, SAP), and visualization platforms (Tableau, QlikView, Incorta)
- Database skills such as SQL, MS Access (not mandatory)
