We pride ourselves on our compassionate approach and commitment to delivering exceptional care. We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Financial Reporting Analyst to join our finance team. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and supporting data-driven decision-making.
As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be assisting the CFO and Senior Accountant in the preparation of all monthly financial reports and the collection of relevant data. You will play a key role in the finance team, ensuring that financial information is accurate, timely, and insightful, aiding in strategic planning and operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection, Analysis and Management: Gather and analyse data related to aged care services, including resident care metrics, staffing levels, financial performance, and compliance with regulations.
- Report Development: Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and support decision-making processes.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to support decision-making.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices in financial reporting and data management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
