About the role:
This position is a varied role within the company's financial operations, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities. Overall, this role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Your responsibilities will include utilising the Databuild accounting system to manage job costing and estimating, handling progress claims, invoices, and debtor payments, while also supervising two accounts admin assistants. Additionally, the role includes maintaining a daily cash flow chart for the Managing Director (MD) and coordinating progress claims and cash flow management with them.
- Documenting insurance payments and tax submissions
- Reconciling accounts and processing payments
- Managing monthly end-to-end payroll - Including BAS, PAYG, Super, Insurance, Long service leave
- Liaising with external stakeholders for various accounting matters
- 4+ years working within a simar role for a Residential Builder
- Proficient in Databuild and Xero - Advantageous
- Can work Autonomously, mentor and lead others
- Experience in end to end Payroll - Preferred
