The Role
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for Group Financial Accounting, Reporting, and Analysis, including ownership of intercompany balance management, financial systems administration, and assisting in preparing consolidated reporting analysis and support.

Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of cross-ERP intercompany balances and management of intercompany balance clearing
- Month-end close duties, including maintenance of group prepayment schedules and amortisation, intercompany recharge journals, and preparation of month-end account reconciliations
- Assist with administration of the Group's financial systems, assist users with troubleshooting queries, and provide new user training.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information, accounting guidance and process improvements as requested by internal and external stakeholders
- Support the development of frameworks for financial control, including developing and maintaining the Group's accounting policies and procedures.
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting.
- CA or CPA qualification is currently being completed.
- Solid, relevant experience, preferably within an ASX-listed company or top/mid-tier audit firm.
- Knowledge and experience in financial accounting and Australian Accounting Standards.
- High-level analytical skills and strong communication skills.
