We are looking for a full-time warehouse 2IC who can help deliver professional in our warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising the day-to-day running of the whole team of more than 20 staff
- Taking in charge of recruitment procedures of warehouse staff such as phone interviews, face-to-face individual/group interviews and interviewee’s reference check
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
- Achieving financial target by preparing an annual budget
- Proposal, regular meeting agenda and procedure draft generation
- Establishing and maintaining communications among different transportation companies and containers drop-off/collection
- Supervising employees to liaising with customers and preparing products for customers and shipment
- Controlling inventory levels by using ERP system (WMS cycle-count)
- Providing technical advice for purchasing department
- Keeping equipment operating safely, troubleshooting breakdown and call for repairs and maintenances
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops such as ERP training workshops or warehouse safety workshops
- Maintaining professional and soft skills by organizing regular management meeting with supervisors and all warehouse staff
- Maintaining warehouse staff jobs results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees. Planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
- Maintaining the professional team building
- General warehouse duties are required when needed such as forklift operating, order picking, packing, and dispatching etc.
About you
- Intermediate/Advanced Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Management and Leadership Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years’ warehousing 2IC/Supervisor experience
- High-reach truck (LF) License Essential
