Financial Accountant - Western Sydney - $90-$95K + Super - 6 Month Contract

About the Role
Due to ongoing growth, there is currently an opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a supportive team environment and take ownership of a broad role. 

This will initially be a 6 Month Contract however, with positive transformation projects underway, there is potential for the role to extend or become a permanent position

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Manage the preparation and submission of CapEx requests,
• Journal Entries, Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
• Tax Reporting and Returns:
• Lease Accounting
• Support audit preparations to ensure all financial records are accurate and available
• Employee Expense & Corporate Card Management

Skills and Experience Required 

• CA / CPA Qualified (or studying towards)
• Prior accounting experience, with direct involvement in tax reporting, lease accounting, and month-end closing activities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with tax preparation tools
• Ability to reprioritise tasks to support business needs
