AddressLocated on Alexandria, our client is looking for an ambitious and energetic Assistant Financial Accountant to join their accounting team of 3. The role and the business is suited to someone who is flexible, pro-active and multi-tasking, and can manage effectively and with a sense of urgency in a high achieving and fast moving environment. The role will initially have a heavy focus on reconciliations whilst new system implementation occurs. Following this, there is great opportunity for the ideal candidate to expand their skills and take on further reporting responsibilities.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:
- High volume daily reconciliations
- Prepare monthly journal entries.
- Assistance with effective cash flow management.
- Assisting with the reporting of P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Fixed asset register
- Assist with Accounts Payables and Receivables
- Other month-end processes
The successful applicant will have
- High volume reconciliation experience
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field
- Ideally studying toward your CPA/CA
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with AP21 (beneficial but not necessarily)
