About the team
The Limited Advice Team provide high quality personal and general phone based advice to our members. We are a close knit team who share knowledge and support each other, challenging the norm to drive continuous improvement and contribute to the ongoing success of the team and the business.
The opportunity
Exciting opportunity to join TelstraSuper in a phone-based advice role within the Limited Advice Team (Permanent/Full Time). Your key activities will be holding advice appointments with members, generating Statements of Advice documents, and referring members to our scaled and comprehensive advice teams where their query falls outside of the limited advice scope.
Key responsibilities:
- Engage with members by phone, provide assistance, identify advice needs and provide an effective triage service, explaining and promoting TelstraSuper Financial Planning’s proposition and relevant alternatives for providing an advice solution
- Where advice is in scope for limited advice service, provide personal or general advice as required
- Participate in proactive outbound calling to support campaigns and other initiatives
- Promote the reputation of TelstraSuper and TelstraSuper Financial Planning with members of TelstraSuper and associated family members
Non-negotiables
- Existing financial planner (must be listed on the ASIC register between 1 January 2016 to 1 January 2019 OR completed Professional Year)
- Applicants must have attained an approved degree or working towards completion of an approved relevant degree no later than 31 December 2025
- Passed Financial Adviser exam
- Up to date CPD points
- Previous advice experience and knowledge of Midwinter software would be preferable but not compulsory as training will be provided.
