About the Role
Our future-focused Strategy & Growth team within Downer’s Industrial and Energy business unit has an exciting new opportunity for a Market and Business Development Analyst. This role will be reporting directly to the Strategy & Growth Manager and will be based out of either our Brisbane, Newcastle or Perth offices.
The role is well-suited to someone who relishes understanding all of the details that make up the big picture – analysing data and transforming it into meaningful insights and recommendations.

- CRM & Power BI experience
- Advanced Excel experience and a high level of comfort working with large amounts of data & information

- Ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels, both internally and externally
- Adaptable and quick to learn and use new skills and knowledge within an evolving market
Role duties will include but are not limited to:
- Review & reporting on market trends and identification of new entry points
- Market, sector and pipeline data analysis
- CRM data analysis and reporting
- Developing Power BI Reports & general visualisation of data
- Manage, collate and record data accurately within the databases
- Review contract obligations in relation to KPI’s and other specific metrics
- KPI Modelling & development
- Recommend improvements and streamline processes
- Preparation and reporting inputs into Monthly Growth and Development reviews
- Additional ad hoc duties as required
