Financial Analyst

Job Description Location: South West Sydney, with potential for remote work

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse current and historical financial data to provide valuable insights and forecasting support.
• Prepare and present accessible reports detailing various analyses, including but not limited to yearly growth, return on assets, equity, and earnings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly the finance department, to review financial information and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Establish and evaluate profit plans, contributing to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the organization.
• Leverage your expertise in manufacturing and inventory flows to enhance financial analyses and decision-making processes.
• Utilize NetSuite experience to streamline financial operations and reporting (experience preferred but not required).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory flows and their impact on financial performance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Location and Work Arrangement: This position is based in Smeaton Grange, South West Sydney. However, we are open to discussing a hybrid work arrangement, with the potential for remote work on a part-time basis, depending on the candidate's preferences and qualifications.
