Financial Controller wanted for leading wholesaler

Our client is a leading wholesaler in search of an experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support the company's financial growth and success. Your new role
Reporting to the CEO, responsibilities included:
- Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts for the wholesaling division.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial objectives are aligned with operational goals.
- Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to optimise financial performance.
- Oversee financial audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and insights.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles is a plus.
