Miller Leith are proudly partnering with Norco to find their next Financial Controller. Steeped in rich history, this is a well known agriculture leader across Queensland and Northern NSW. The Role
This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Financial Controller. Reporting into the CFO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for leading financial activities and operations to support the performance of the business. You will manage a small team and play a vital role as the company continues to grow.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing budgeting, forecasting and overseeing P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
- Review business processes to identify inefficiencies
- Tracking, reporting, and analysing budget variances for group consolidated results
- Lead the preparation of the company's financial statements, statutory and regulatory reporting
- Lead monthly business performance review including month-end reports for management and board committees
- Lead working capital strategy and management for group
- Maintain strong risk management and internal controls
- Lead and develop high performing corporate finance and transactional accounting team
Skills and Experience:
- CPA/CA Qualified
- At least 5+ years in similar Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role
- Experience in Manufacturing would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience with large ERP systems
- An agile and analytical problem-solver
- Natural leader and mentor
