Our client's office specializes in primary production industries, along with various small and medium businesses, including family businesses.
About You
The candidate that is successful in fulfilling this rare opportunity to join an award winning, dynamic organisation will be responsible for providing holistic financial advice to both new and existing clients. The advice will be delivered in person, Virtually and once you are established may require you to travel to our regional offices to meet clients, participate in presentations and events hosted by our organisation.
The types of advice that you will deliver to a high standard includes but is not limited to:
- Cash-flow management
- Taxation management (in conjunction with the Accounting team),
- Debt management and reduction strategies,
- Personal insurance,
- Business Insurance,
- Investment advice and portfolio construction,
- Superannuation advice,
- Retirement planning Advice.
This role will suit mid-level Financial Planners with proven results, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build long term relationships.
Demonstrated Skills
- Extensive experience working as a Financial Planner in Australia
- Current AR status (registered on ASIC)
- FAESA pass status granted
- Tertiary degree aligned with industry education requirements
- Accounting background/qualification would be desired as we are a multiservice firm and this will enhance your ability and success rate in collaborating on clients’ needs with the accounting, legal and finance team,
- Proven experience in advising clients who have multiple entities - SMSF’s, Trusts, Company structures
- Strong technical knowledge,
- Proven experience in dealing with high net worth clients,
- You have the ability and willingness to advise and service clients from all walks of life,
- Experience in building multi-layered portfolios and various types of portfolios to suit clients life-stage and individual needs,
- Strong relationship building skills
- Great understanding of compliance frameworks in the advice industry
- Strong familiarity with XPlan is highly desirable due to the volume of multiple entity clients that you will encounter,
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office (and the ability to learn new systems quickly).
