Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

The Position
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the Financial Planning and analysis function for the Australian operations. As the FP&A Manager you will have the opportunity to support the local Australian businesses and broader finance team whilst also working closely with the international Group FP&A team. You will be responsible for providing financial support across analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the annual budget process for the Australian operations, including consolidation of the New Zealand businesses
• Oversee and lead a small FP&A team locally (currently one Analyst)
• Manage periodic and ad hoc forecasting and re-forecasting
• Build new and maintain financial models relating to preliminary screening of acquisition opportunities
• Provide periodic and ad hoc financial analysis as required by stakeholders
• Cashflow analysis, forecasting and reporting
• Ad hoc projects involving data/scenario analysis and modelling
• Identify areas to streamline and improve group reporting

Skills and Experience

• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
• Prior experience in a similar FP&A management or business partnering role
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• High level attention to detail, strong critical analysis capability and an ability to think strategically
• Strong project management capability
