Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the Financial Planning and analysis function for the Australian operations. As the FP&A Manager you will have the opportunity to support the local Australian businesses and broader finance team whilst also working closely with the international Group FP&A team. You will be responsible for providing financial support across analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the annual budget process for the Australian operations, including consolidation of the New Zealand businesses
- Oversee and lead a small FP&A team locally (currently one Analyst)
- Manage periodic and ad hoc forecasting and re-forecasting
- Build new and maintain financial models relating to preliminary screening of acquisition opportunities
- Provide periodic and ad hoc financial analysis as required by stakeholders
- Cashflow analysis, forecasting and reporting
- Ad hoc projects involving data/scenario analysis and modelling
- Identify areas to streamline and improve group reporting
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in a similar FP&A management or business partnering role
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- High level attention to detail, strong critical analysis capability and an ability to think strategically
- Strong project management capability
