Financial Planning Assistant - National Independent

Established in 2001 our client is a well regarded organisation with offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Due to sustained strategic growth they now require an extra resource to support the financial planners. Working in a pod structure you will be building relationships with clients and work directly with 1 award winning adviser. 

The Role - Working in an adviser pod your duties will be: 

• Provide a point of contact for clients. Answer incoming calls and handle non-advice related queries.
• Liaise with product providers to assist and resolve client queries, collect client data and prepare required documentation and reports.
• Complete and follow up tasks associated with implementation of advice strategy for a client.
• Complete and follow up tasks associated with on-going review for a client.
• Researching products, strategies and technical issues.
• Accurate and timely record keeping of both client files and XPLAN.
• Focused on continuous improvement and creative thinking around process improvement.

The Person 

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience supporting a financial adviser 
• Experience with implementation 
• Excellent at building relationships with clients 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Excellent organisational skills 
• Friendly personality
