Role Overview
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this Financial Reporting Accountant role is part of a cross functional team. Through recent changes within the business they are entering a period of positive change whereby this role will be key in establishing new Reporting templates within their ERP System alongside contributing to better analysis to help in improving profitability. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to broaden their skills to include FP&A tasks in a large organisation.
Responsibilities
- Undertake periodic reporting to parent company
- Evaluate current reporting processes and suggest improvements for timely and efficient reporting in SAP System
- Financial Review of ongoing projects Assist in the maintenance of accounting policies Compliance with relevant Accounting Standards and Control processes (SOX)
- Maintain and implement relevant changes to Accounting Standards
- Business Partner internal Stakeholders to ensure correct Accounting treatments are applied for commercial activities
- Profitability reporting and Analysis
- Ad-hoc Group Finance related projects
Candidate Profile
This role is a brilliant opportunity for a CA/CPA qualified Accountant to pick up FP&A Reporting alongside technical Accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a multinational organisation alongside a natural ability to partner with Senior Management and non-finance Stakeholders. If you have previous exposure of any process or reporting improvement projects this will be viewed positively.
