Financial Reporting Analyst- Risks And Controls (Multiple Positions)

Seeking a highly skilled & detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst- Risks & Controls to join the finance team of a reputed financial organisation.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As a part of your role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the Financial Reporting processes and you will have a deep understanding of process taxonomies & mapping, Financial ReportingRisks and management, and regulatory requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Identify and analyse potential risks, ensuring a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment and the industry best practices.
• Design, document, and evaluate the effectiveness of the internal controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for the Financial Reporting processes.
• Develop and implement robust internal control frameworks for Financial Reporting.
• In collaboration with the process transformation team, conduct process mapping to visualise and document end-to-end Financial Reporting workflows, identifying key risk and control points.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in order to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Financial Reporting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement best practices and optimise the workflow.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Financial Reporting requirements and communicate updates to stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent) is desirable.
• 7+ years of progressive post-qualification experience in Financial Reporting, with a focus on Risks and Controls.
• Must have the ability to implement best practice risk management/control frameworks.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles, Financial Reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prior experience in developing and implementing process taxonomies and conducting process mapping would be advantageous.
• Operating and delivering results in a matrix environment and leveraging relationships to influence and drive successful outcomes.
• Financial Services expertise will be preferred.
