Seeking a highly skilled & detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst- Risks & Controls to join the finance team of a reputed financial organisation.

As a part of your role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the Financial Reporting processes and you will have a deep understanding of process taxonomies & mapping, Financial ReportingRisks and management, and regulatory requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Identify and analyse potential risks, ensuring a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment and the industry best practices.
- Design, document, and evaluate the effectiveness of the internal controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for the Financial Reporting processes.
- Develop and implement robust internal control frameworks for Financial Reporting.
- In collaboration with the process transformation team, conduct process mapping to visualise and document end-to-end Financial Reporting workflows, identifying key risk and control points.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in order to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Financial Reporting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement best practices and optimise the workflow.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Financial Reporting requirements and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent) is desirable.
- 7+ years of progressive post-qualification experience in Financial Reporting, with a focus on Risks and Controls.
- Must have the ability to implement best practice risk management/control frameworks.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles, Financial Reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience in developing and implementing process taxonomies and conducting process mapping would be advantageous.
- Operating and delivering results in a matrix environment and leveraging relationships to influence and drive successful outcomes.
- Financial Services expertise will be preferred.
