The OpportunityWe are looking for a self-driven Financial Accountant to focus on treasury and capital work. In this role, you will be supporting management in the accounting and treasury functions for the Group.
We are looking for an accountant who is passionate about learning more about the aspects of treasury management (cash flow forecasting, banking, and debt facility administration) and our capital accounting (CapEx and leases).
This is a newly created role where you will be part of a great team to work closely with and learn from. There are exciting finance and treasury-related projects on the horizon that you’ll get to play a great part in.
What you'll be doing- Accountable for accurate cash flow management including preparing cash flow forecasts.
- Managing facility drawdown and rollover notices, term deposits, lease contract documentation & accounting.
- Capital expenditure accounting and forecasts.
- Covenant compliance monitoring, as well as accurate realised & unrealised FX accounting.
- Point of contact for all cash/treasury-related partners.
- System Admin for LeaseAccelerator accounting software.
- Contributing to new system rollouts and upgrades from a financial control perspective.
- Participating in treasury-related projects and supporting financial transactions.
- Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA) qualified.
- 3 to 5 years' experience as a post-qualified accountant.
- Experience in telecommunications or hosting industries is desirable.
- Experience across a broad range of finance disciplines (financial and management reporting, debt facility management and hedging, forecasting)
- Advanced Excel level and modelling skills.
- Track record of identifying and driving out change through productivity improvements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
