Role Purpose:
As a Fire Safety Compliance Officer at Our Client, you will ensure seamless delivery of fire safety compliance services by planning, scheduling, and tracking service delivery. You will also prepare and manage reports, certificates, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft essential service maintenance audits and reports, including AFSS (NSW), OS (QLD), AESMR (VIC), and Site Review Reports.
- Reconcile audits and inspections on fire safety measures.
- Organise and coordinate inspection programs with the FSC team.
- Submit completed documents to councils, local fire brigades, and clients.
- Liaise with councils on statutory forms and Extension of Time requests.
- Draft statutory forms for AESMR, AFSS, and OS for contractor signing.
- Coordinate with the Finance team for payment of council fees.
- Provide administrative support and accurate advice on fire safety processes, NCC, Building Regulations, and Australian Standards.
- Ensure compliance with Quality System objectives and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Assist in maintaining training records and departmental process maps.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in fire equipment service and maintenance.
- Knowledge of SA fire safety regulations.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A detail-oriented approach and a passion for fire safety.
