Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design and execution of projects ranging in size and complexity, with a focus on building fire systems for different types of buildings, specifically healthcare, sports, labs and commercial, industrial and precinct level infrastructure
Participate in the design development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems or products for building and infrastructure fire systems
Lead a design team through the entire project life cycle, supporting the team in client meetings, collaborating with other disciplines and consultants, coordinating site service and requirements, and performing field reviews
Take ownership for projects from start to finish, meeting project objectives while putting emphasis on sustainable solutions and outcomes
Promote active, continuous learning and improvement within the team. Cultivate team members’ growth through feedback, coaching and career development
Support Team Lead to plan projects, optimize resources Managing project timelines, budget, and talented resources

Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience providing fire engineering in the building industry.
Australian Qualifications Framework - Bachelor Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma associated with the built environment and ideally working towards CPEng
Good knowledge of construction phase monitoring of completed designs
Strong reporting writing skills and strong consulting skills
Organised and effective team member, able to work easily with others, manage staff, negotiate, and effectively delegate
Advanced Interpersonal skills with clients and staff
Advanced communication and coaching skills
